Information stored on your device

The app may store:

• Your chosen experience mode and accessibility preferences.
• Activity sessions, including dates, duration, and the activity played.
• Activity responses such as timing, difficulty tier, and whether a response was correct.
• Optional enjoyment, effort, and energy check-ins you choose to provide.
• Reminder preferences and whether Supporter View is selected.

How information is used

The app uses this information only to show local summaries, adjust activity difficulty gently, remember your preferences, and schedule optional on-device reminders.

Storage and protection

Information is stored locally in the app’s private storage. Sensitive fields are encrypted using AES-GCM, with the encryption key kept in secure storage provided by the operating system.

No sale, advertising, analytics, or cloud sharing

SmartMemoryFox does not sell personal information. It does not include advertising or third-party analytics, and it does not send activity information to us or to a cloud service. Supporter View works only on the same device.

Notifications

Reminders are optional. If enabled, the app asks for operating system permission and schedules notifications on your device. You can change or turn off reminders at any time.

Export and deletion

In Settings → Privacy & Data, you can export a portable copy of the information stored by the app. You can also permanently delete app data and cancel scheduled SmartMemoryFox reminders. Removing the app may also remove its local information, subject to your device backup settings.

Children

SmartMemoryFox is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Health and medical information

SmartMemoryFox provides recreational activities only. It is not a medical device, cognitive test, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional medical advice. Local participation summaries should not be interpreted clinically.
